Customer says he’s on a generator and if it does power downstairs we recommend a back up sump pump. If the generator doesn't work in the basement to power the pump we recommend a battery back sump pump to be installed. We also recommend a wise air 100 dehumidifier. The pump is coming up on seven years old and the manufactures life expectancy is only 5 to 7 years due to this. I highly recommend replacing the pump to avoid any failures.
